MJD WALK FOR A CURE 2025

Event Overview

🗓️ Date: Saturday 20th September 2025

📍 Location: High Country Rail Trail (Finish in Tallangatta)

🎯 Purpose: Raising awareness and funds for MJD research and support

👣 Distances:

• 22km walk (Ebden Reserve → Tallangatta)

• 13km walk (Huon Reserve → Tallangatta)

💵 Registration:

• $100 per person

• Children 15 years & under FREE

• **Early Bird Special** - Register by Friday 5th September and receive a free MJD Walk for a Cure drink bottle! (Only with paid registrations)

  WHATS INCLUDED:

• Bus transport from Tallangatta to your starting point (MUST REGISTER)

• Hydration stations and snacks along the trail

• Entry to post-walk community event

Post-walk Community Event - Finish Line Celebration: Live music, Food & Games.

Non-walkers: $20 Entry Fee

Walk Options & Schedule

Option 1: 22km (Ebden Reserve → Tallangatta)

• Park at Tallangatta (1 Womaatong St)

• 🚌 7:10am: Bus to Ebden Reserve

• 📝 7:30-8:00am: Check-in

• 🚶 8:00am: Walk starts

• ⏱️ Approx. 5h 15m walk

• 🎉 Enjoy the post-walk event in Tallangatta

Option 2: 13km (Huon Reserve → Tallangatta)

• Park at Tallangatta (1 Womaatong St)

• 🚌 9:20am: Bus to Huon Reserve

• 📝 9:30-10:00am: Check-in

• 🚶 10:00am: Walk starts

• ⏱️ Approx. 3h 15m walk

• 🎉 Join the post-walk event

✅ Bus transport included in your registration. You must book during registation.

Post-walk Community event

⏰ Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

📍 Location: TBC
